Why Choose BFF Aussies?

We are a small, home-based program in Placerville, California, devoted to Australian Shepherds with sound structure, stable temperaments, and thoughtful placement. Every litter is raised underfoot with veterinary care, microchipping, and professional temperament evaluation.

We are in a thoughtful transition as well. Health and temperament remain our focus for service, therapy, and family homes, while we place greater emphasis on structure and movement per AKC and ASCA standards — and begin showing and finishing our dogs to better the breed.

Go-home day includes a starter kit, guidance packet, and access to a private litter group—plus lifetime support from a breeder who stays in your corner.

Purpose, temperament, and breed type

From your first consultation through testing at 6–7 weeks, we help you meet the puppy whose personality fits your life. We keep our focus on health and temperament for service and therapy work, and we are also emphasizing structure and movement per AKC and ASCA standards as we begin showing and finishing our dogs.
